Five boulders tumbled down a steep hillside in Hawaii on Thursday, dramatically crashing into two homes.
No one was hurt but the two houses were left in ruins, with a third suffering minor damage.
The rocks dropped at around 9pm in Kalihi Valley, startling witnesses who said they heard a cracking noise shortly before they fell.
Resident John Maemori had lived in his Kula Kolea Place home all his life before it was devastated in Thursday's incident.
'I was on my computer, with my headphones on when it happened. I just heard the rumbling,' he told Hawaii News Now.
