Three workers left dangling from 15th floor as high-rise scaffolding collapses...and cops and firemen fall out over the risky rescue mission

When three maintenance workers were left clinging for their lives after a scaffold collapsed outside the 15th floor of a high-rise building teams of both firemen and policemen rushed to rescue them.

When the cops and firefighters arrived at the scene and saw the men dangerously dangling from the scaffolding the emergency teams had different ideas of how to save the men.

One police officer from the Emergency Service Unit, James Coll, immediately rushed to the 20th floor and used rope to lowered himself down the outside of the 200 East 66th Street building to the terrified workers below.

Meanwhile the firemen planned to reached the men from a window and went to the 17th floor, where they were forced to break into an apartment.
