Four U.S. soldiers are believed to be dead following a helicopter crash in Afghanistan on Thursday night.Defence officials said that an Army Black Hawk helicopter had crashed in the south-west of the country.
It is not known whether or not the crash was the result of enemy action.
Officials suggested that unspecified weather difficulties were the cause of the accident.
In a brief official announcement, the American military command in Kabul said there were 'no confirmed reports' of casualties 'at this time'.
The announcement did not specify the nationality of the helicopter crew and said the cause of the crash was unknown. Read More
