Steve Frogg Charged with attempted Murder after Stabbing a 4 year old Boy

A 51-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after the horrific Easter Monday stabbing of a four-year-old boy.

The child's father has revealed he had left his animal-obsessed son playing with a neighbour's kittens when the attack took place.

The bloodsoaked youngster was spotted wandering the streets outside his home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with multiple stab wounds.

Steve Frogg, of Frederick Street, Mansfield is due to appear at the town's magistrate's court later today.

The child was rushed to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre, where he was treated for stab wounds to the head, neck and both sides of his lower torso.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed on Wednesday he is in a 'conscious and stable condition'.

Police said in a statement 'A 51-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an attack on a four-year-old boy. Steve Frogg, of Frederick Street, Mansfield, will appear at Mansfield Magistrates Court today. Read More
