Natalie McMillan charged with manslaughter by gross negligence and child cruelty of four-month-old son 'crushed to death television

A woman has been charged over the death of her four-month-old son after a television fell on top of him while he was at home.

Kian McMillan was rushed hospital with severe head injuries following the incident at his home in Burnley, Lancashire, in the early hours of December 6 last year.

He was taken from the Royal Blackburn Hospital to specialists at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital but died less than 24 hours after paramedics first reached him.

Natalie McMillan, 24, now of Bradford, West Yorkshire, has been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence and child cruelty, said Lancashire Constabulary.

Edward Hanratty, 40, also from Bradford, is accused of child cruelty. Read More
