The 2011 "Some Girls" remastered reissue will be available in the following formats:
- CD (standard edition) with all 12 of the previously unreleased songs.
- CD (box set) with all 12 of the previously unreleased songs; a single of the remastered "Beast of Burden"/"When the Whip Comes Down"; a "Some Girls" book; a "Some Girls" set of postcards; a "Some Girls" photo print by Helmut Newton; and a "Some Girls" tour poster.
- Digital with all 12 of the previously unreleased songs.
- Vinyl with none of the previously unreleased songs. The track listing is the same as the original "Some Girls" release.

-We've heard that Van Halen recently signed a deal with new label Columbia after spending its entire 35-year career at Warner Bros. UPDATED SEPT 19: "there have indeed been serious talks between the parties, but that, as of today, there is no signed deal," Source.
According to Francis Zegut , Van Halen will play @ Paris Bercy on May 28 2012 ( & Roger Waters @ Stade de France in Sept 2012.
- Slash will begin recording his new album next month, here's an interview with Slash: "We actually haven't started recording, but we've been in pre-production. We're about nine songs in, as far as that goes. And when I get back from England tomorrow, we'll go in and do another 12 songs. And we start actually recording late October. This is a record with Myles singing in the entire thing. "
-Alice Cooper played an intimate club show in L.A. @ Whisky a Go-GO on Sept 15, he was joined on stage by Ke$ha (?!?) on "School' Out" (audio only) and by The Doors' Robbie Krieger on "Break on Through" and "Back Door Man"(audio only).

But because planning was so far along for the tour - the dates and venues were already locked in. But there has been no reason given to promoters for the cancellation. Simply that it was not going to go ahead.
